The Right Profile
Financial literacy and education play a key role in supporting people on their journey to become more confident investors. With the proliferation of digital channels and a myriad of formats to work with, Syfe’s content hub is envisioned as a place which cuts through the financial clutter and jargon. It contains a wealth of insights for those who want to be smarter about their money, to make intelligent decisions about their future. In this role, you will spearhead the vision and creation of Syfe’s one-stop content hub for investors to be immersed and nurture their knowledge of financial markets, growing it into a powerful force to navigate people through the complex world of investing.
Lead the creation and execution of the content strategy and editorial calendar for marketing campaigns, in close collaboration with campaign managers (research, analysis and strategic planning where required).
Conceptualise and produce compelling content on a range of investment and personal finance topics such as: Syfe products, financial markets and across different customer lifecycle stages (discovery, activation, retention)
Work with the investment research team to develop market commentary and monthly client statements.
Adapt content and messaging across channels (podcasts, videos, infographics, long form articles, newsletters, ebooks etc to drive traffic, engagement and leads
Identify white space, themes and pillars and develop creative, clutter-breaking content (written, graphic, video) across varied channels aligned to the overarching proposition and brand
Ongoing creation, optimisation (measure, track and report) and governance of content including management of brand tone of voice and guidelines
Work with internal and external partners to get content produced and amplified
Channel management of all content, including email, newsletters, blogs and other
Keen interest in investing and personal finance!
5+ years in a content and social media marketing role
Extensive copywriting capability across multiple content formats
Ability to drive the overall strategy while also being hands on with copywriting, publishing and reporting
Editorial mindset with a consumer and behavioral focus
Digitally fluent with an understanding of data to drive strategy and creativity to win hearts and minds
Strong understanding of social media platforms
Proven end-to-end project management with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail, strong research skills, and possess a good understanding of SEO principles and keyword demand
Good experience of finding creative freelancers and getting outsourced work done where necessary
Keen desire to work in a fast growing start-up in the exciting Fintech space
Portfolio of published content including long form articles and other formats (blogs, magazine, social media)
Experience with Wordpress, Google analytics, and social channels is a plus
Understanding of and experience in investing/financial services
Hands-on experience in either graphic design, video or podcast production
