Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software.
Develop and maintain scalable, resilient cloud-based infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach.
Automate processes to ensure reliability, and continuously improve by leveraging emerging technologies and practices.
Monitor, support, and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
Participate in the on-call rotation, providing support and resolving production issues as needed.
Collaborate with software engineers and other team members to improve deployability and operability of our systems.
Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
Proficient with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of cloud-native architectures.
Strong programming and scripting abilities in Python, Ruby, or Go.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc. Knowledge of network protocols, Linux/Unix administration, and database systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
